PJ Elective in General Medicine
General practice clinics that have long been involved as supervising clinics in the block internship and meet certain criteria can guide our students through the General Practice Clinical Rotation. This rotation lasts 16 weeks.
If you would like to participate as a PJ practice, please contact Dr. Martina Bischoff (martina.bischoff@uniklinik-freiburg.de, 0761 270 72461), our coordinator for the PJ and advanced training program, or Julia Schäfer (julia.schaefer@uniklinik-freiburg.de, 0761 270 72000), who provides organizational support for the PJ.
Important documents for the General Practice PJ tertial:
- Before the start of the elective clinical rotation, the practice submits an “Application for Funding (Expense Reimbursement)”
- For their application for funding from the KV, students require a “Confirmation from the PJ Practice regarding the student’s future admission”
- At the end of the rotation, the practice issues the student a “Certificate of Completion for the PJ Rotation,” on the basis of which the Institute of General Medicine issues the rotation certificate
- Confidentiality Obligation
Students are required to keep a logbook during the General Practice tertial. This is available for viewing here.
