Medical Students: Attitudes During Their Studies – MAiS Study

Are you studying medicine at the University of Freiburg? Then our MAiS study is for you!

We’re curious to know what happens to you medical students during your years of study, what interests you, and what’s on your mind. That’s why, at four different points during your studies, you can share your views and opinions with us on topics such as career paths, future prospects, attitudes toward volunteer work, and your own health and risk behaviors.

And why all of this? You can find the answer and further information in our study information booklet, available for download, or online at https://www.ukurs.uni-freiburg.de/einverstaendnisserklaerung-pj/. Here you can also give us your consent to participate in the study right away.

If you have any further questions about the MAiS study, please feel free to contact us directly at the following email address: med.mais@uniklinik-freiburg.de

MAiS Participation

Welcome!
We’re glad you’re here to take part in our MAiS study!

MAiS? It stands for Medical Students: Perceptions During Their Studies and is a study designed for medical students at the University of Freiburg. The goal of this study is to examine your views and attitudes as future physicians on various topics over the course of your entire degree program. These include: career paths, future prospects, attitudes toward volunteer work, and your own health and risk behaviors.

Why are we doing this?

We suspect that your views and attitudes on these topics will change over the course of your studies. That’s why we’ll ask for your opinion not just once, but four times during your studies. So far, so clear.

For you

As a thank-you, we’ll raffle off 10 €50 gift cards (for whatever you want) each semester among all participants who have provided valid consent.

Then we can get started right away, but first we need your consent.
