Education, advanced training and teaching
In interdisciplinary endoscopy (IGE), assistant, specialist and senior physicians are continuously trained and further educated. Training takes place according to a defined rotation principle and under the supervision of experienced examiners.
Physicians from external hospitals regularly visit the department. There is also an annual advanced training curriculum. IGE employees also regularly give lectures at national and international congresses and advanced training events.
The IGE is also involved in student teaching and regularly employs doctoral students for scientific projects. The contact person for interested parties is PD Dr. Armin Küllmer.
