Constructive solutions to conflicts in the workplace

Conflicts arise wherever people interact with one another. However, they also have positive potential. They highlight areas where processes and communication can be improved. If a solution can be worked out together, teams can be significantly strengthened by this experience.

Unresolved conflicts in the workplace not only cause psychological stress for employees, but also generate high costs. These can be measured, for example, in terms of increased sick leave and staff turnover. For this reason, the University Medical Center has developed a binding action plan that is applied to all conflicts that cannot be resolved amicably through direct discussion between the parties involved.
