Radiomics: Next Generation of Biomedical Imaging

Spanning two half-days, this online workshop utilises Python. For those needing a refresher, a short Python crash course is available in advance.

This workshop is not aimed at beginners and is therefore suitable for early career researchers as well as experienced professionals who want to boost their statistical skills.

Upon completion, participants will receive an online certificate of participation.

Workshop Details

Agenda

Day 1 – Data integration

• Standardisation/normalisation of data
• Data imputation / missing value treatment
• Feature reduction and variable selection methods
• Outlier detection (classic and machine learning approach)

Day 2

• Outcome prediction/classification
  Classical regression models and machine learning (decision tree, random forest, xgb, SVM etc.)
