What are you waiting for? We are looking for you! The developmental neuroepigenetics group of Prof. T. Vogel at the University of Freiburg ist looking for
Postdoctoral Position in Neurodevelopmental Epigenetics (m/f/d)
The developmental neuroepigenetics group of Prof. T. Vogel at the University of Freiburg investigates mechanisms of transcriptional control during brain development. The group is renowned for studying stem cell and neuronal specification during development and in CNS disease (Gather et al, NAR 2025; Akol et al, PNAS, 2023; Appiah et al, Embo Rep, 2023; Ferrari et al, Nat Comm, 2020; Franz et al, NAR, 2019).
Applying state-of-the-art methodology including single-cell sequencing approaches, bioinformatics, CRISPR/Cas9 in iPSCs and human brain organoids the group studies transcriptional regulation through histone modifications and transcription factors with regard to cerebral cortex and hippocampus development in mice and humans.
