Healthcare and nursing assistant
at the Freiburg site or at the Bad Krozingen campus
Advice and support
Training at state-recognized schools for healthcare and nursing assistance should enable trainees to perform assistance tasks in inpatient, semi-inpatient and outpatient healthcare facilities and comparable facilities, in particular to responsibly perform nursing tasks under the guidance of a nurse and housekeeping tasks. The training should enable trainees to combine specialist knowledge and social skills in a balanced manner, to act on this basis and to make decisions within the scope of the tasks assigned.
By training as a healthcare and nursing assistant, we offer you a profession that involves working closely with sick and needy people. During your training, you will acquire the basic knowledge and skills of nursing, which you can apply in a subsequent training course as a nursing specialist (m/f/d) if you are interested and have successfully completed it.
Duration & start of training, FREIBURG LOCATION
You will complete a 12-month training program that ends with a state examination. Upon successful completion, you can expand your skills in an apprenticeship as a nursing specialist (m/f/d). You can apply all year round, and training begins at the Freiburg location on October 1 each year.
