The Library of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is the common website of the University Library Freiburg and the libraries of the Medical Faculty of the Albert Ludwig University Freiburg and the Medical Center - University Freiburg. It serves as an information platform on medical library services available in Freiburg. We offer links to the catalogs for print and online media availabe through the library and direct access to databases, e-journals, books and internet resources.
The library itself occupies several locations and is organized as a network of librarians and specialized medical libraries including the patient's library.

The 'Katalog plus' has the titles of books and journals (print and online) that are kept in the libraries of Freiburg. - Karlsruhe Virtual Catalog (KVK)
searches a variety of German and foreign catalogs of institutions and booksellers. - Further online catalogs can be found under the heading "where can I find what I need?"

- Interlibrary Loan:
Books and journal articles that are not in stock in the libraries of Freiburg can be ordered via a web form of the University Library. To place orders, You need a library card of the University Library Freiburg. Documents ordered via interlibrary loan web form have to be picked up in the University Library. Each order incurs a processing fee of EUR 1.50. - Central Document Delivery Service of the Faculty of Medicine:
For members of the Freiburg Medical Faculty, journal articles and books can be ordered from libraries in and outside of Freiburg.
