Cochlear Implant Centrum Freiburg - ICFThe task of medical postoperative care at the Implant Centrum Freiburg (ICF) is to control wound healing, the position of the implant, and answer other medical queries in ENT which may be related to the cochlear implant (rounds)
Likewise, information on cochlear implant treatment of both ears (bilateral), and on other hearing aids, if necessary, is given. Specialists and Interns in ENT (Medical Team) are available for this.
From our point of view, medical acute care and long-term follow-up are important components of holistic care of cochlear implant wearers, not only now, but for the entire lifetime.
