Final Meeting
20th and 21st October 2026 in Berlin
We are pleased to announce the Final Meeting, bringing together current and former project partners from phase I and phase II for a final consortium-wide exchange on the achievements and outcomes of the SPP.
The meeting will take place in Berlin at the Landesvertretung Baden-Württemberg as a two-day lunch-to-lunch event. It will provide an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the programme, discuss the developments and results of all sub-projects, and highlight the scientific advances made throughout the funding periods.
The final meeting includes keynote presentations, contributions from the German Research Foundation (DFG), project presentations by the participating research teams from phase II, and a poster session presenting projects and results from both funding phases. As the individual projects are at different stages of completion, the presentations will showcase either their final results or the latest developments and outlook for the remaining project period.
Together, these presentations will provide a comprehensive overview of the priority programme's scientific impact over both funding phases and demonstrate the collaborative achievements of the consortium.

Organisational matters
As part of the event, each phase II sub-project is asked to give a 10-minute presentation on the progress and results of their work. Additionally, all sub-projects from phase I and phase II are invited to bring one A0 poster summarising the key elements and achievements of their research. The posters will serve as a basis for discussion and networking during the poster session and will not be formally presented.

Important note: Although this is the consortium's Final Meeting and representatives of the DFG will be present, the event does not constitute a final project evaluation. Due to the different project durations, the official final reports remain a mandatory part of the funding process.
