Beschreibung

Stevens-Johnson-Syndrom/toxisch epidermale Nekrolyse (SJS/TEN), akute generalisierte exanthematöse Pustulosis (AGEP), Hypersensitivitätssyndrom/Medikamentenreaktion mit Eosinophilia und systemischen Symptomen (HSS/DRESS) sowie generalisiertes bullöses fixes Arzneiexanthem sind seltene aber sehr schwerwiegende Reaktionen an der Haut (SCAR = severe cutaneous adverse reaction) auf Medikamente mit hoher Morbidität und Letalität.

Das Ziel der Studiengruppe ist die medizinische und wirtschaftliche Belastung von schweren Hautreaktionen (SCAR) auf die öffentliche Gesundheit zu reduzieren und gleichzeitig die Sicherheit der Anwendung von Medikamenten zu erhöhen.

Die praktischen Ziele der Studie sind:

1. ein internationales Register von SCAR für eine andauernde Überwachung von neuen Medikamenten mit adäquaten pharmacoepidemiologischen Methode aufzubauen und damit Referenzdaten zu liefern,
2. eine standardisierte Probenbank mit biologischen Proben (Blutplasma, Lymphozyten, DNA und Hautbiopsie) aufzubauen, um qualitative hochwertige Studien zur Pharmakogenetik und zur Untersuchung des zugrundeliegenden Mechanismus der Reaktion durchführen zu können, und
3. eine Kohorte von Patienten zu bilden (inklusive Nachbeobachtung), um den Ausgang, prognostische Faktoren, Spätfolgen und Lebensqualität bei diesen schweren Hautreaktionen untersuchen zu können.
