The CCI's translational research programme addresses immunodeficiency across the entire spectrum from clinical observation and the conduct of clinical trials to modelling of the diseases in vitro and research into the molecular and cellular basis of the functions of the human immune system.
The CCI's immune system research focuses on three main areas: molecular immunodeficiency, cellular immunodeficiency and cell and gene therapy.
