Dear Colleagues,

Following on the positive feedback for the first two German Flow Core Summits, held in Mainz (2024) and Freiburg (2025), I would like to ask you on behalf of the organizing committee to “save the date” for the 3rd German Flow Core Summit - March 17-18, 2026.

The meeting will be held in Lecture Hall 1010, of Kollegiengebäude I of the University of Freiburg, and will run from midday to midday (17th and 18th of March, 2026). The previous meetings were attended by over 100 core facility members, who came from 50 facilities located from across Germany (and beyond), in addition to industry participants.

This meeting is given by and for the flow cytometry core facility community, and seeks to address common issues that many of us face. It is aimed at all those who run or work in a flow cytometry core facility (academic or industry) and, as in the previous meetings, there will be ample time in the program to allow for discussions and questions from the community.

The meeting will focus on the technology, including tips and tricks, as well as discuss operational aspects of a flow facility. We will also hear the latest about core facility programs, crib talks, and maybe even a few surprises.

Session topics for the 3rd German Flow Core Summit 2026 are currently being developed, so be sure to watch this space for the latest information. In addition, if you have something that you would like to share with the flow community, or topics you would like to see included, please get in touch with one of us.

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to say that we look forward to welcoming you in March 2026 in Freiburg.
