Translational and Precision GI-Oncology – Bench to Bedside Meeting
April 26 - 28, 2023 | Berliner Tor (Hotel Stadt Freiburg)
In a novel concept we want to bring together national and international academic scientists with tranlational clinician scientists and participants from industry to discuss new biological concepts and therapeutic approaches. The focus will be on GI oncology, with the aim to develop innovative study concepts together with industry, based on findings from basic research in order to improve therapy options for our patients. We want to discuss new technologies (molecular diagnostics) and therapy concepts (precision medicine), and develop strategies to use these as effectively as possible. The results of the workshop will lead to an action plan and will be published. In addition, we would like to invite and motivate young scientists and physicians in order to inspire them for a career in translational cancer research.
