Freiburg Myeloma Workshop

Dear Colleagues,

following the annual tradition of assembling outstanding experts at Freiburg University to let them share their insights on advances in multiple myeloma (MM), we are very happy to welcome you all to the 14^th MM Meeting 2023.

Over the last years, remarkable advances in the field have steadily improved the outcome of patients suffering from plasma cell dyscrasias. Myeloma physicians, both in the clinic and outpatient office, face challenges as the options available add up to a whole variety of valuable treatment strategies (including novel agents, immunotherapies and stem cell transplantations).

"14^th MM Meeting 2023: Is cure possible in MM" is the title of our 2023 workshop meeting, which finally will be a live meeting again.

We have invited worldwide eminent authorities from the US, France and Germany, who will - with UKF experts plus commentary guests - share their data with us in straightforward discussion rounds.

Therewith, we will cover new treatment modalities in MM, will solve, where the future in MM evolves to, what are current, worldwide trials from the US and Europe and pending solutions needed for this disease.

We will also address the constantly better MM care and whether cure in some patients, under which therapy, MM state odalities or transformation into a chronic desease (SMM; MGUS) stage is possible.
