Visit of a scientific delegation for training from Kazakhstan

What we do during these two weeks
The delegation consists of twelve members. Many are PhD students, but there are also staff scientists and technicians among them.
- Seven of them receive training in CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing.
- Two get an introduction to CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, to later focus on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Two receive training in flow cytometry.
- One receives training in machine learning.
They represent five different institutions and organizations in three locations: Astana, Almaty and Otar in the Korday district of the Zhambyl region. Therefore this training is also a great networking opportunity for them, especially, because in their second week, we have joint programs with another Kazakh delegation of medical doctors.

We are thrilled to host a delegation from Kazakhstan during the first two weeks of December.
