Myeloid Cells

We are using a system where we can differentiate mouse haematopoietic progenitor cells into either neutrophils or macrophages. We have used this system to characterize spontaneous apoptosis (Haschka et al., 2015; Kirschnek et al., 2011) and immunodeficiencies (Gautam et al., 2013) in neutrophils and have looked into functions of neutrophils in more complex situations (with Prof. Zeiser, Haematology) (Hulsdunker et al., 2018; Schwab et al., 2014).
