Responsibilities within the Institute
The division Methods in Clinical Epidemiology is dedicated to advancing the methodological foundation of observational studies through the development of novel models and the refinement of established approaches. The division Studies and Statistical Consultancy offers advice for general design questions with particular expertise for regulated studies and randomised clinical trials. Both divisions offer collaboration in a broad range of investigator-initiated projects.Selected projects
- Modelling the effect of a diagnostic intervention on activities of daily living in patients with mild cognitive impairment. ENABLE - a project with the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE).
- EXPOLS - Exploring the Potential of Large language models for integration into an academic Statistical Consulting Service. A cross-disciplinary, investigator initiated trial spanning the entire institute.
