Deep learning and AI-applications in breast MRI

MRI is an important diagnostic tool for detecting and characterizing breast tumors. However, MRI exams can be time-consuming and the spatial resolution may be limited. Artificial intelligence has shown great promise in improving the efficiency and accuracy of MRI reconstruction. In this research project, we aim to develop and validate AI algorithms that can reconstruct breast MRI images to reduce scan time and improve spatial resolution, while maintaining or improving diagnostic accuracy. The project will involve deep learning models trained on large datasets of breast MRI images, and testing their performance on both simulated and clinical data.
