Artificial intelligence in mammography

This project is dedicated to exploring the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in mammography imaging within clinical settings. Breast cancer remains a significant health concern, and early detection is crucial for improving patient outcomes. AI has shown promising capabilities in aiding radiologists and clinicians in the interpretation and analysis of mammograms, offering the potential for enhanced accuracy and efficiency in breast cancer diagnosis. This scientific project aims to investigate and evaluate various application examples of AI in mammography imaging. By analyzing large datasets of mammograms, we seek to develop and refine AI algorithms that can assist in detecting subtle abnormalities, classifying breast lesions, and predicting malignancy. The findings from this research will contribute to the advancement of AI technologies in breast imaging, ultimately supporting healthcare professionals in making more informed decisions and improving patient care in the clinic.
