Technical Workflow Seminar – Oncology real-time PCR and Olink Proteomic Technology
When: Sept 25, 2025; 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: Seminar Room EG Left, Zentrum für Translationale Zellforschung (ZTZ)
Limited availability: Infos regarding registration below and in PDF attached.
Join us for a hands-on workshop introducing CytoVI, a generative deep learning model designed to elevate your cytometry data analysis. This workshop is intended to make generative modeling accessible to both experimental researchers and clinicians, including those with no prior experience in machine learning.
What We’ll Cover:
TaqMan Gene Expression in Cancer Research
- Study cancer-related gene expression with precise and reliable qPCR tools
- Support cancer research with flexible assays for biomarker discovery and validation
Unlocking the Future: Next-Generation Proteomics with Olink
- Accelerate biomarker research using PEA™ Technology up to >5400 protein targets per sample
- Case studies for Translational Biomarker Discovery (Inflammation, Oncology & Immune Response)
Speakers: Hasan Vatandaslar, Dr. Lutz Priebe & Dr. Simon Stilling
Both our experts will be leading the sessions and sharing lots of practical tips to help with your research and answer your questions after the sessions.
Special Promo for Participants: All attendees will receive a special discount on Thermo Fisher Scientific products, exclusively available for seminar participants.

Seminar Advanced functional assays with FACS-compatible droplet microfluidics
Join Volkan Besirlioglu, Field Application Scientist at Samplix, for an exclusive seminar on Xdrop®, a breakthrough platform for single-cell functional analysis. With Xdrop, single cells or cell pairs are encapsulated in FACS-compatible droplets. These tiny, gas-permeable vessels enable the analysis of cellular functionalities simultaneously at the single-cell level. Our cytotoxicity, cytokine secretion, and granzyme B secretion assays provide in-depth insights into the mechanisms of cell killing.
When: September 29th, 11:30-12:30
Where: Zentrum für Translationale Zellforschung (ZTZ)
Seminarraum EG Fenster
Breisacher Str. 115
79106 Freiburg
