The Mantis is adept at pipetting very small volumes (down to 0.1 µL) with high precision and little to no dead volume (6 nL). The potential cost savings in reagents alone are significant, not to mention the reduction in hands-on time. Experimental reproducibility would also benefit from using the system.

The Mantis is small enough to fit under a cell culture hood if necessary, making it useful for a variety of applications, from pipetting 384-well plates for QPCR reactions to large dilution series and treatment combinations for 96-well plates. It is also capable of pipetting hydrogel solutions such as Matrigel into 96-well plates.

Apply for an introduction: Introduction events are limited to a max. no. of 3 participants at a time. The introductions can be in German or English. If you require training on this device, please check whether you meet the requirements (registration with the PPMS booking system). Select a suitable date here and apply for training in PPMS via “Request”/“Training Request” and the “Formulatrix Mantis Liquid Dispenser Training” form for a binding reservation.
