Roche LightCycler 480 qPCR
Our two LightCycler 480 systems from Roche are very similar. The older one is named "LC1" or "Obi Wan". The "younger" one is named "LC2" or "Luke". Both of them perform quantitative PCR analysis.
Each LC 480 is a plate-based machine with both 384-well and 96-well blocks. The thermal blocks are fast-cycling, with typical run times about one hour. The range of reaction volumes is 20 - 100 microliters for the 96-well and 5 - 20 microliters for the 384-well block.

Introduction events are limited to a max. no. of 1 participants at a time. The introductions can be in German or English. If you require training on this device, please check whether you meet the requirements (registration with the PPMS booking system). Select a suitable date here and apply for training in PPMS via “Request”/“Training Request” and the “QPCR - Roche LightCycler 480 Training” form for a binding reservation.
